About Gippsland Education Precinct

The Gippsland Education Precinct was established in 2004 as a partnership of the major providers of education, training and employment for young people in the Gippsland region and local government – made up of the Gippsland Campus, Federation Training, Kurnai College, Apprenticeships Group Australia and Latrobe City.

When the Gippsland Education Precinct elected for voluntary cancellation of its Incorporation in 2014, the residual funds available were transferred to the Federation University Australia Foundation, and bursaries were established, which are intended to assist students to continue their education and career development.
