About Kylie Pope
Kylie started her career in family day care, due to her love of children and it gave her time with her own children, Jacob and Isabella, while they were in their primary school years .
Once her children got older, her career moved into early learning - First as a Centre Director at Story House Early Learning and then moved to the Goodstart Centre at Mt Helen.
During Kylie's 18 months at Goodstart, she made a massive impact with educators and the children that she loved so much. Kylie never called them children, she always referred to them as little people and loved to teach, guide and watch them grow. She took great pleasure and always thought how lucky she was to be involved in families lives, supporting and guiding parents .
On 4 October 2020 Kylie passed away. In memory of Kylie, this scholarship has been established as a great legacy for her, continuing her work, still supporting the work that she loved so much.
