What are some of your career highlights?

I have enjoyed working across a broad range of industries from Mining to Research and Academics, to Financial services and then consulting and finally high-tech product development. It has been a fascinating and stimulating career.

Describe the most enjoyable and challenging aspects of your job

Pushing the limits of technology to bring to the market an innovative product that benefits customers. It’s challenging because the technology is never certain or sure to work, when it does finally work it is great joy, especially when our customers find value in it.

What are your strongest memories while you were studying at Federation University?

The Fed Uni conference was always a highlight as I got the chance to interact and spend the day with other researchers.

Do you have any advice about life after study to pass on to current students?

Studying is ongoing and I would encourage current students to note this. I've also found value in being a part of my university community.
