What are some of your career highlights?

Working closely with fire agencies as a State OHS Advisor after the 7 Feb 2009 bush-fires.

Having the confidence to establish my own business.

Developing close relationships with clients.

Describe the most enjoyable and challenging aspects of your job

Most enjoyable is being able to develop workable outcomes for business and the opportunity to travel.

Presenting papers and having papers published in my area of expertise.

Not so enjoyable has been undertaking serious workplace incident investigations where people have been fatally injured or will have life long injuries.

What are your strongest memories while you were studying at the University of Ballarat?

The hot and cold extremes of studying in summer and winter. The network of students I studied with and the high expectations that have set me up to ensure that my work has a high level of rigor.

Do you have any advice about life after study to pass on to current students?

Does study finish? I have since gone on to do a Masters and moving to another one so study is still a part of my free time.
