BSides Ballarat
Cybersecurity is a fascinating and rapidly expanding field with a scope that includes enthusiasts, commercial security, and national security. While many great conferences are held in the capital cities, the regions often miss out. BSides Ballarat aims to build the cybersecurity community in Ballarat, especially in the younger age group.
BSides Ballarat is an annual conference that aims to develop cybersecurity awareness,and skills with a focus on the following key areas: ,
- Getting started in a cybersecurity career,
- Practical cybersecurity projects,
- Securing your network,
- Understanding security architectures,
- Reverse engineering, taking things apart to learn how they work in depth,
- Understanding the cyber world of attackers and defenders,
