Person walking near modern building on Mt Helen Campus.

Mt Helen is set on a whopping 110 hectares of bushland, so you can listen to birdsong as you study, smell the scent of the eucalypts and – if you're lucky – spot a koala during your lunch break. Many of our buildings have a view of the 'Tree of Knowledge' – an incredible Tasmanian Blue Gum in the main courtyard. It was planted in 1896 and is over 40 metres tall.

Wondering about our facilities? The campus has everything you need – it's basically a mini town. There's also the Ballarat Technology Park onsite (where you’ll find IBM, Grampians Health, Triple Zero Victoria and other businesses).

Mt Helen is 10 kms from the centre of Ballarat. The drive will take about 20 minutes, or if you catch the bus, allow half an hour. You can also cycle – there's a great track along the Canadian Creek.

The traditional custodians for this area are the Wadawurrung peoples.
