Lindy is an allied health professional working in the Institute of Health and Wellbeing, exercise and sport science discipline. Lindy joined Federation University in 2011 as a sessional academic before being appointed as ongoing in 2012 as the work integrated learning academic for exercise and sport science students.
Previous to Federation University, Lindy worked at St John of God Healthcare, Ballarat as an Allied Health Assistant and the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre as the health club manager. Lindy is a current member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), both as an accredited exercise physiologist and accredited exercise scientist. Lindy is actively involved in the scholarship of learning and teaching, ensuring students have meaningful opportunities to put their theoretical content learnt in the classroom into a practical setting.
