The purpose of the Centre for Teaching Innovation and Quality (CTIQ) is to support, enhance and advance learning and teaching practices.
As a Centre, we support quality teaching practices, support quality learning through embedding student academic support, enhance learning and teaching practices through professional development as well as enhancing learning and teaching through quality course and curriculum design. We also support quality, sustainable digital resources and recognise teaching excellence. Furthermore, we advance learning and teaching through scholarship and research and advance learning and teaching through academic projects and partnerships.
Alternative L&T delivery - Support information
In the event that Federation University is required to temporarily teach in a fully online capacity, below is a document developed by Centre for Teaching Innovation and Quality (CTIQ) that details some practical, alternative learning and teaching strategies that course coordinators and lecturers may find useful. It is important that student engagement, inclusivity and positive learning interactions is central to developing sustainable online learning environments.

Course assessment modification
**Note: Due to the exceptional circumstances experienced by the COVID-9 social distancing requirements, a Course Assessment Modification has been developed for Semester 1, 2020 only to enable approval for any changes to course outlines, for courses that have already commenced. This document describes the electronic process for instigating an assessment change that is beyond the current Course Outline. Please read the information and process within the document carefully.
