New programs can assist disadvantaged students

Programs that prepare students for university study – called enabling programs – should be promoted and encouraged as a way to assist disadvantaged students to prepare for higher education study, according to Professor Marcia Devlin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Quality), at Federation University Australia.
