Federation University Australia and the National Centre for Reconciliation, Truth, and Justice have hosted the Inaugural Federation University Annual Reconciliation Lecture. This annual major public lecture aims to increase understandings of reconciliation, truth, and justice, among the wider community.

The lecture was presented by Guugu Yimidhirr man Noel Pearson, one of Australia’s most influential Indigenous lawyers and activists. He has, for many years, campaigned tirelessly in national leadership roles on constitutional reform, the Uluru Statement from the Heart, and the First Nations Voice to Parliament.
