We are reimagining not only the courses and programs we offer, but how they are taught.
Our focus in on providing modern, relevant and practical education experiences that keep pace with the needs of students, industry and communities both now and into the future.
We know that our students want to graduate into a good job with strong career growth and that our regional employers want a pipeline of skilled job-ready graduates.
As Victoria’s premier regional university, with both university and TAFE campuses across the state, we are uniquely placed to deliver this.
Our program renewal project is how.
Our courses and programs will be focussed on growth areas with strong demand from students and employers now and into the future.
Federation University programs will be co-designed with industry and every undergraduate and TAFE student will be involved in workplace learning.
There will be new structures integrating TAFE and higher education, and links to research outputs.
We will expand our product offerings to include micro credentials and other types of programs and courses we have not offered before. This will allow us to better respond to the demands of students, employers and the changing workforce.
Our students will graduate with a core set of skills that will make them job-ready and will future proof their careers.
We will become the only Australian university that truly balances classroom learning with hands-on experience, where our students are working and gaining practical experience in their field of study throughout their degree.
This will make the Federation experience unique.
