Notice of Staff nominations for appointment to University Academic Governance bodies

Nominations are invited from Federation University staff to seek appointment for two-year terms (1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027) to the following Academic Governance bodies:

Academic Board

• One Higher Education Academic at Level A - C

Learning and Teaching Quality Committee

• One Higher Education Academic at Level A - E

Research Committee

• One member of the Professoriate
• One Higher Education Academic at Level A – E

Nomination acceptance period:

To nominate, please complete the applicable online form below and submit  prior to the close of nominations.

Successful completion of your nomination will require:

• the inclusion of contact details for two other staff members who endorse your nomination.
• the opportunity to upload a candidate statement of up to 250-words to support your nomination to be published on the voting form in the event of a ballot being required. Your statement may include your interest in the position, experience, or what you hope to contribute to the role.
• acceptance that you meet the eligibility criteria as specified below.

Notice of Ballot

An online ballot will be held for any position which receives more nominations than there are vacancies. Ballot forms will be available here when the ballot opens.

• Ballot opens: 28 November 2025 at 8 am
• Ballot closes: 5 December 2025 at 6 pm

Results: The successful candidates will be announced on FedNews and in FedEngage.
