Mick Young Scholarship

This scholarship is available for semester 2 only.

The TAFE Directors Australia National Scholarships Foundation provides annual scholarships to students experiencing financial hardship and who are motivated to complete their course of study. These are known as Mick Young Scholarships and are open to existing and potential VET sector students.

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants

  • Must be financially disadvantaged and be committed to doing well in their studies;
  • Can be studying full or part-time;
  • Be studying, or intending to study, an approved Australian VET course listed on the Australian Government training website;
  • Must demonstrate initiative and motivation to succeed in their chosen course of study; and
  • Must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.

Value:

There are 10 (ten) scholarships available, each valued at $500.
