Total value of up to $15,000
  • $15,000 paid in four $3750 instalments in the third year of the degree
  • $7,500 paid in four $1875 instalments in the third year of the degree (students enrolled in an Art and Design degree)
Number offered
  • Up to 40 scholarships will be offered in 2014
Selection
  • Based on academic achievement
  • Expectation in relation to industry-based learning and their self assessment of what you believe you can contribute to a host employer
  • Performance at an interview with Federation University Australia staff and industry representatives
  • Involvement in school and community activities
  • Leadership and work experience
  • Motivation, enthusiasm and commitment
Eligibility
All conditions must be met
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa
  • Completed Year 12, IB or equivalent
  • Commencing or continuing full-time, on-campus first-year or second-year undergraduate student in an approved course in one of the following faculties at the Gippsland campus:
    • Art and Design
    • Arts
    • Business
    • Engineering
    • Information Technology
    • Science
Retention
  • You must maintain full-time on-campus enrolment
  • You must satisfactorily complete:
    • the IPP Professional Development Program
    • four out of four units studied in each semester of undergraduate studies
    • a 26 week industry placement with a satisfactory level of performance
    • the faculty academic IPP unit assessment
