Lecturer, Dance and movement

As lecturer in dance and movement, Teresa teaches tap and jazz for the Bachelor of Music Theatre and Bachelor of Acting for Stage and Screen. She completed professional training in all facets of performing arts, and taught dance in the private sector for 12 years prior to joining Federation University in 2013. Teresa’s research interests include dance/movement pedagogy for actors, and injury prevention, rehabilitation and fitness for performers.

In addition to delivering skills classes that reflect expectations of the performing arts industry, she places significant importance on ensuring students feel supported in all areas throughout their studies.
