Technical Officer

Neale Stratford is the technical officer at the Gippsland Centre for Art and Design, Federation University Australia. Himself a photographer, Stratford completed a Master of Visual Art and a Master of Fine Art at Monash University. His creative work speaks about the human condition, exploring the gap between internal and external realities, dreams and fantasies, delusions and desire, the depths of depression, uncanny abject thoughts, sex and death. He won the prestigious Centre for Contemporary Photography Prize for emerging photographers in 2008, and his work was shown in 2013 at an invitational exhibition of artists in New York.
