From the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Rom began his performance career at the age of eight. As a transgender performer, Rom continues to shine a light on queer performers and performances on stage and screen. He has had the privilege of working on Neighbours and has completed screen acting courses with NIDA and the National Theatre. Rom joined Red Theatricals in mid-2019, completing a musical theatre program. At the Arts Academy. Rom was fortunate enough to work twice with Ross Hall on Frankenstein (Clarice/The Creature) and Momo (Professor Hora). His most cherished role to date involved working with Kim Durban on Edith Lyttleton’s Warp and Woof as liftman Tom Bent.
