Maalini Ellis she/her

Maalini Ellis was born and raised in Melbourne. She started her performing career in circus and was part of a performing troupe. She has completed her Certificate IV in Circus Arts. She has also performed her own work as an emerging artist. Over her time at the Arts Academy, Maalini has performed in The Beau Defeated (Mrs Clerimont), The Lower Depths (Natasha) and Pippin (ensemble). Maalini loves puppetry and designed and created puppets for The Beau Defeated. She also co-devised and performed a physical comedy act for A Seat at the Periodic Table. Maalini has a passion for naturalism and comedy and plans to pursue a career focusing on screen.
