Raised in Djilang (Geelong), Lachlan has always been fascinated by linguistics in theatre. A writer himself, he’s often drawn to stories that reflect lived experiences, thoughtful creativity and human connections. At the Arts Academy he’s had the opportunity to strengthen his characterisation in productions of The Beau Defeated (Belvoir) directed by Kellie Tori, Little Women: The Broadway Musical (Mr. Laurence) directed by Melanie Beddie and Orlando (Orlando) directed by Kim Durban. He also had the opportunity to stage his own work Careful (Ashton), via the company-devised production of A Seat at the Periodic Table. Now Melbourne-based, Lachlan plans to study fight choreography to add to his ever-growing theatrical arsenal.
