Carrie has always been surrounded by the arts community of Melbourne, growing up in a creative family and seeing plays from a young age. She started musical theatre classes in primary school, and cocurricular productions through high school. At the Arts Academy Carrie worked with Janice Muller on The White Rose and Bagryana Popov on The Lower Depths. She worked with the graduating cohort on the devised anthology show A Seat at the Periodic Table, and played various roles in Neil Bartlett’s adaptation of Orlando by Virginia Woolf, under Kim Durban’s direction. Carrie has a particular passion for bringing out the text in all kinds of plays.
