Larry Vila Pouca
Larry has 20 years’ design experience in Australia and abroad. After completing his BA in graphic design and graduating with distinction in 1996, he began his career in London where he gained valuable experience in the arts and fashion industries at one of Britain’s most creatively acclaimed fashion studios, working with Paul Smith, Levi Strauss, Sony Music, and The British Arts Council. Larry was responsible for the relaunch of the world wide Levi’s ‘Engineered Jeans’ Campaign in 1999.
Since his return to Australia, Larry has worked for numerous award-winning agencies on diverse projects for Witchery, Akira Isogowa, ANZ, John Wardle Architects, Smorgon Steel, Cape Mentelle, Dominique Portet, Tupperware, L’OrĂ©al Melbourne Fashion Festival, Peter Alexander, The Australian Ballet, The Cool Hunter, Style Me Romy, and Herman Miller, all across a number of disciplines including environmental design, art direction, signage, packaging, identity design, and information design. Larry believes good ideas never grow old.
