It’s such a great time to be joining Federation University as Director, People and Culture, with the recent and exciting introduction of our new People and Culture system, Workday, alongside successful implementation of our new payroll system, aPay.

We are now well placed to move forward with modern and innovative ways of working. We can enhance our employee experience on an ongoing basis and continuously improve our processes as we respond to the University’s evolving future needs.

What an achievement! 

I would like to acknowledge the contribution of all those who worked tirelessly to make this happen, particularly the project team who navigated a complex implementation so capably.

Thanks to the broader People and Culture team.  I know the team worked above and beyond to make sure the Workday and aPay implementations were successful. And they did this, while also keeping ‘business-as-usual’ processes moving along.  Such commitment is to be greatly appreciated and admired.

There are many others to acknowledge too, including leadership, reference group members, and our Workday change agents, now supporting you as you learn to use Workday.

Thank you all for your efforts, continuous collaboration, and ongoing support in helping to shape better people systems and processes for Federation.
