Samantha Bartlett is Federation University Australia's inaugural Chief Learner Experience Officer (CLXO). This critical role in the Vice-Chancellor's senior team oversees and continually improves the entire learner experience.
Samantha leads the Learner Experience portfolio, which includes marketing, student administration and registrar, health and wellbeing and retention. It also has a strong focus on our digital transformation, taking a learner-centred approach to all that we do. Samantha has end-to-end responsibility for the journey of our learners from promotion to application, and all the way to graduation.
The CLXO is driving the implementation of the learner experience in our co-operative education model – a learner experience that is high-quality, personalised and supports them throughout their time as a life-long learner with Federation.
Samantha joins Federation with extensive experience across marketing, customer experience and digital transformation through senior leadership roles in complex settings including Origin Energy, Australia Post and most recently Australian Red Cross Lifeblood. She received her Bachelor of Behaviour Science from La Trobe University and her Master of Business (Marketing) from Monash University.
Samantha's experience in transforming the customer experience through digitisation at Australia Post and Lifeblood, and her expertise in customer experience, marketing and brand strategy, and stakeholder engagement, will be pivotal to setting Federation University up for future success. Samantha is a champion of simple and highly personalised experiences for customers.
