If your study has been adversely affected by your circumstances, you might be able to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS).
We know that every student has a unique background – and different circumstances means different degrees of disadvantage.
Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS), also known as special consideration, is designed to level the playing field. If you’re eligible, SEAS might increase your selection rank for the courses you're applying for. (Although it won’t change your ATAR.)
Even if SEAS doesn’t end up boosting your rank, it’s still worth applying for. Your uni applications won’t be impacted.
Different universities handle SEAS in their own way. This is how we do it at Federation.
This calculator will give you a rough idea of your selection rank adjustment based on your SEAS application.
Answer a few simple questions to see how your rank could be boosted. (Remember that this is an estimate and may not match the final VTAC adjustment.) The maximum adjustment is 15 points.
