Which course?

To figure out what you want to study, spend some time considering why you want to study. You may wish to learn more about an area of interest to you, or to spend some time doing something in a field of study you enjoy. If you want to prepare yourself for a career, think about where you would like to work, and what sort of career attracts you. By identifying these things, you can spend time researching occupations that interest you and the qualifications you will need to work in those areas.

Gather information and research the range of study options available

Once you've identified the areas you're interested in, you can start collecting information from FedUni about what you can study that can help you work towards your goals.

Publications

We have a range of publications to help you consider your options for tertiary study. You can find them in our publications section.

Have a look at our careers booklets, which have detailed information on our study fields. We also have guides to help parents and Year 10 students get the information they need to make decisions about tertiary study.

Online

Our website has all the information from all of our publications. You can also use it to look up our available courses and information.

Open Days

We have two Open Days every year, and they give you a chance to talk to staff, explore the campus and get a feel for the University.

Open Day – Sunday 31 August 2014 (Ballarat and Gippsland campuses)
Information Day – Late December (Mt Helen and Gippsland)

Check the dates and timetables on our information sessions and events webpage as the event draws closer.

Campus tours

On our campus tours you can see our facilities, meet staff and have a closer look at our campuses. Tours are run all year round and you can book one by contacting us on 1800 333 864 or info@federation.edu.au

The campus tours on Open Day and Information Day are especially fun. The tours are often led by our student ambassadors, who can give you a first-hand insight into what study with us is like.

Information sessions and events

Throughout the year FedUni holds information sessions to give you the chance to get in-depth information about specific courses. You will be able to speak to staff, ask questions and register your interest.

More information is available on our information sessions and events webpage.

Find out what our students say

In our careers booklets current and past students share their experience, which gives you context for the course information in the booklet. You can find out more about the career successes, achievements and experiences of our graduates after their time studying with us.

You can also hear what our students have to say from their testimonials on our YouTube channel.
