Gippsland photographer Neale Stratford creates intriguing (and often creepy) tableaux using poseable dolls, which he then photographs using high-end cinematography approaches.
The result is an incongruous cast of characters from Hitler and Barbie to Sneezy, Ironman and the artist himself.
Said Switchback curator Rodney Forbes, "Neale Stratford's exquisite photography skills combined with the theatricality and surreality of his doll set-ups makes for an absorbing and exhilarating viewing experience."
