Regional students

With campuses in Ballarat, the Wimmera, Gippsland and Berwick, Federation is regional Victoria's largest education institution. There’s nothing wrong with moving to a capital city for uni, but we like to think that our locations make it easier for country students to settle in. We’re not too far from home. (And we have eucalypts. Fresh air. Birdsong!)
Study closer to home
Combine on-campus and online study
Benefit from links with local industry
Our student support is second to none

Campus atmosphere

Our campuses feel large. And small. There’s bushland and manicured gardens – space to breathe – but also the Student Lounge, the café, the library – where you’ll probably run into someone you know.

Local industry links

Our connection to local businesses means you’ll not only get real-world knowledge and work experience during your studies, you’ll also graduate with one foot in the door.

Financial aid

Uni might not be as expensive as you think. There are scholarships, for a start. And government funding, free TAFE options and HELP loans. Find out what you’re eligible for.
