High school students

Knowing what you want to do after school can be hard. Choosing a career right now? It’s a lot. Instead, consider other aspects of uni – the location, the alternative entry options, the academic and financial help available. Federation is a regional university with a lot to offer.

Walk and talk

Join us for a walk and talk tour during the winter school holidays! Let a current student show you around campus and share their experiences. Choose your campus and time on Tuesday 8 July or Thursday 10 July to get a real feel for what university life is like. We can't wait to welcome you.

Course preferencing

Figuring out what order to put your courses in can be tricky. Decide on your priorities and do your research. Location, student support, work experience options – what are you looking for?

VTAC offers

When you submit your course preference list to VTAC, they’ll work out what your highest-placed university offer is. First-round offers are released in late December (after ATARs are available).

Alternative entry

If you’ve got a uni course in mind but you don’t meet the entrance requirements, consider doing a pathway course. Improve your academic skills, boost your confidence and get where you want to be.

Early Offer program

Apply for an Early Offer and you’ll be guaranteed a place at Federation (as long as you meet the course prerequisites). You’ll also get exclusive access to course advice, career counselling and industry partners.
