WIL Policy and Procedures
Work-integrated learning is governed by the Work Based Training and Practical Placement Requirements Policy (Policy Code: LT1711). Currently under review
The two procedures which accompany the Work Based Training and Practical Placement Requirements Policy are specifically targeted to the higher education and TAFE/VET sectors of the university.
The Higher Education Work Based Training and Practical Placement Requirements Procedure (Policy Code: LT1907). Currently under review
All current and new programs and/or courses with a WIL component must follow the procedures set out in the above Policy and Procedures documents.
Uni-wide processes include: Agreements with students and external organisations, pre-placement requirements, occupational, health and safety processes.
Students must complete all pre-placement requirements which may include any or all of the following: Student agreement, medical form, police checks (organised through placement staff), Working With Children Check (WWCC).
