Leanne works in CLIPP as a Learning Designer embedded within the Faculty of Education and Arts. In this role Leanne provides strategic advice and design assistance to academics in areas such as the selection of appropriate learning strategies, assessments, resources and educational technologies to achieve learning outcomes in the blended online learning environment. The role also includes the delivery of professional development and support programs for academic staff relating to online course design, the use of the Learning Management System and associated technologies.
Leanne has over 30 years teaching experience working within the university sector, various TAFE colleges and the secondary school system. She has designed and delivered courses to a diverse range of clients both in formal education settings and within industry. Education institutions she has worked in more recently are Deakin University, Victoria University and The Gordon. Industry clients include the Australian Defence Force, Target Australia and The Geelong Football Club.
Major roles have included Learning Designer, Project Manager, E-mentor and Program/Course Coordinator. She has a detailed understanding and experience using online learning technologies, development of resources to support staff, administration and co-ordination of the learning management systems and the professional development of staff.
