Undergraduate scholarships

For students applying to commence in 2019

The School of Science, Engineering and Information Technology supports their students with a range of scholarships valued up to $12,000 for students undertaking the following programs. All students who meet eligibility requirements are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications close on January 4, 2019.

Scholarships available

IBM Professional Practice (Prof Prac) Scholarships

– from a minimum of $35,500 (a combination of scholarship funds and paid employment)

All students accepted into the Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice) are automatically awarded this scholarship. Students will receive approximately $35,500 in scholarships as part of the program.

Students applying for the following scholarships must complete this application form.

Women in Information Technology/Women in Engineering Scholarships - $12,000

These scholarships (two available) are awarded to women entering undergraduate information technology or engineering programs with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of $12,000.

Engineering Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student in an Engineering program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000.

Information Technology Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student in an information technology program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000. (excluding honours)

Geoscience Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student into the Geoscience program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000. (excluding honours)

Mathematical Sciences Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student into the Mathematical Sciences program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000. (excluding honours)

Bachelor of Science (Honours) Scholarships - $3,000 (two available)

These scholarships will be awarded to applicants from the School of Science, Engineering and Information Technology entering the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program. Applications will be assessed and awarded to the highest achieving students according to their academic performance within their undergraduate degree.
