Project Description: Fossil tracks in the Bridgewater Formation (Pleistocene), coastal Victoria: loss and gain of occurrences due to erosion and other processes
The project builds on a systematic survey of vertebrate ichnofossils conducted between 2010 and 2015 which revealed many occurrences of tracks. Most occurrences are under constant threat of erosion along the energetic Victorian coastal, but the same process may reveal new occurrences. This project would quantify the loss and gain of occurrences over an interval of a few years.
