Research interests

Brooke is a practicing clinical psychologist and certified neuropsychotherapist with research interests within adult mental health, particularly the use of technology (digital health) to improve mental health and well-being. Investigation of stepped care models and the factors that contribute to participant attrition and engagement with online programs, preference and predictors for digital mental health service are of interest, as are the development of therapeutic relationships in digital mental health, the use of video-chat to deliver therapy and the use of apps. Other interests lie within the areas of individual differences (temperament and personality), anxiety, sleep, the brain-gut axis, depression, trauma and emotion regulation.
