Short biography

Minh N. Dao is currently a Lecturer within the School of Engineering, Information Technology and Physical Sciences at Federation University Australia. Previously, he had been working as a Lecturer at Hanoi National University of Education, Vietnam, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and a Research Associate at The University of Newcastle and The University of New South Wales, Australia.

He has published his work in highly reputable journals including SIAM Journal on Optimization, Mathematics of Operations Research, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Communications and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications. The quality of his research has been recognised with several awards including the Best Poster Award from the annual AMSI Optimise Conference (June 2018) and the Annual Best Paper Award from Journal of Global Optimization (December 2017).
