Ana has a multidisciplinary background with majors in Sociology and Psychological Studies which she brings to the field of Education as she is currently completing a Masters of Teaching and has just enrolled in a PhD where she will examine self-efficacy among non-traditional students. Ana has worked for Federation University in their enabling and pathways programs since 2016. She is part of the SJIDE research focus group.

Ana is currently working on multiple publications including:

  • A commentary of the discourses surrounding equity in higher education
  • A collaboration between Monash University, Central Queensland University and Federation University for the NCSEHE grant to examine the impact of COVID-19 and equity implications on non-ATAR entry students.
