TAFE Fest recognises and celebrates students' resilience

Some 250 Federation TAFE Ballarat students were invited to celebrate the return to campus with a fun-filled festival at the SMB Campus. ‘TAFE Fest’ was designed as a welcome event for TAFE students at the beginning of Term 2, allowing staff and students to interact with each other. The festival featured free food from local food trucks Boost Mobeel and Round the Way Bagels, and live music from DJ Tyrone.

Students participated in games, as well as the opportunity to connect to support services through stalls and pop-ups. Approximately 530 students have started with Federation TAFE across all campuses so far in 2022 and have been enjoying transitioning back to on-campus study.
