Current student representatives
Hi, I am Daria, a postgraduate student of Federation Business School. I consider that it is very important to provide an opportunity for students to contribute to the formulation and development of University’s policy, ensuring that the student perspective is taken into account. In such a way, all students might get involved in improving the programmes for everyone as well as enhancing students’ experience in a timely way.
If I get the chance to be the Student Representative Federation Business School Board, I would be pleased to provide a means by which students can raise any issues and concerns and communicate their opinions and thoughts on their student experience to relevant staff.
Let me represent the voice of student cohort and I will do my best to make input in the continuous development of the taught and research degree programmes of Federation University.
Hi, my name is Laura Williams and I am a second-year student in the Bachelor of Business specialising in Marketing at Mt Helen.
My background is in Early Childhood Education, but since then I have completed a Certificate IV in Small Business Management and Diploma of Business specialising in Marketing. I have a GPA of 7.0, and experience in both online and on-campus learning at FedUni as I was overseas for the first half of 2018. I am interested in helping others to get the most out of their education by being a voice for the business students, bringing their ideas, issues and concerns back to the Department to assist with awareness and solutions.
Hi, I am Melanie. I am in my second year of my Business degree at Federation Business School, majoring in Marketing and Human Resource Management.
I believe that it is extremely important, that us as students have a voice, that our opinions and views are taken into consideration, so that we can make the University our own and a place of knowledge and growth. If I get the opportunity to be a Student Representative on the Federation University Business School Board it will be my mission to bridge the gap between students and the University, providing a channel in which students can openly communicate, knowing their opinions are heard and are valued.
