The Sport and Recreation Spatial research priority area investigates sport and recreation participation and facilities, and health outcomes, for evidence-based decision making across the sport and recreation sector. We work closely with government as well as sport and recreation bodies and health providers

The four key research areas are:

  • Influences on participation
  • Value of sport- the health benefits
