Professor Rochelle Eime

Sport and recreation participation can contribute to positive physical, mental and social health, for both healthier individuals and communities. This is important to a range of national and state sporting organisations, national, state and local government, health organisations. Professor Eime’s research combines sports management, health promotion, behavioural epidemiology and big data analytics. Her research specifically investigates sport and recreation participation and facilities, and health for evidence-based decision making across the sport and recreation sector.

She is available to supervise HDR students on topics relating to:

  • Sports participation and retention.
  • Sports facility provision (supply and demand).
  • Role of sport and health.
