Biography

Bill is an agricultural and environmental scientist with multi-disciplinary qualifications and experience in biological and earth sciences, ecology, systems thinking, economics, engineering and sociology. Bill has over 35 years experience in waste minimisation, circular economy, organic waste resource recovery, compost, bioenergy, field agronomy, soil health and sustainable farming systems.

Bill is currently undertaking research into the use of strategic tillage and organic soil amendments to improve the health, depth, productivity and drought-resilience of soils. Bill's expertise is mainly in compost and soil science, agronomy, and resource use efficiency specialising in organic resource recovery.
