Biography

Associate Professor Feng Xia is Discipline Leader (Information Technology) at Federation University Australia and Associate Professor of Data Science. Dr Xia’s research expertise includes data science, knowledge management, social computing, and systems engineering.

Feng is guest editor of several international journals and is regularly invited to chair and deliver keynote speeches at international conferences. He has authored and co-authored two books and over 300 scientific papers for international journals and conferences. He was recognised as a Highly Cited Researcher (2019) by Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science Group) and has received a number of prestigious awards for his research.

Feng received his PhD from Zhejiang University, China. He was a Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology and Full Professor in the School of Software at Dalian University of Technology, China.
