Non-Federation staff and students
Students and staff from other educational institutions
There are three schemes that allow staff and students from other Australian tertiary institutions to borrow from the Federation University Library free of change. We also offer free membership to VCE Units 3 and 4 students and teachers from selected schools.
Please note that membership through these schemes does not allow access to the internet or other electronic resources.
Students enrolled via Open Universities Australia are not eligible for borrowing under the schemes outlined below. To borrow from our collection they will need to take out a community borrower (Infolink) membership.
To register, please present the following to staff at the Information Desk:
|CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Program (Victorian institutions)||ULANZ (University Libraries of Australia and New Zealand)||TAFE National Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme (TAFE NRBS)|
To register, complete the Infolink registration form (pdf, 46kb). Students must have the form signed by the designated representative at the school, and a parent/guardian if under 18 years of age. Teachers must include proof of employment with the school as a VCE teacher.
For more information, download the guide to the Federation University Library for Infolink (VCE) borrowers (pdf, 55kb).
Infolink is our community borrower membership program. It enables people who are not Federation University staff or students, or eligible for membership through the reciprocal borrowing schemes outlined above, to borrow from the Federation Library. Please note that membership does not include access to the internet or other electronic resources.
