Borrowing a laptop
Higher education students
While the library buildings remain closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, please contact the Library for information on borrowing, renewing or returning a laptop. If you require technical support including login, please contact the Service Desk.
We have a financial assistance scheme to help TAFE and VCAL students who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
TAFE and VCAL students can borrow a laptop for a 12-week loan period with one renewal of a further 12 weeks.
While the campus libraries are closed, there will be a 2-stage process to borrow a laptop via contact-less collection at Mt Helen or Werrunangity larr Wimmerata (Wimmera) Library. We are currently unable to arrange collection from the SMB Library. Please book a time for collection at Mt Helen. This process is to ensure student and staff safety on campus.
- Book an appointment to collect a laptop from a campus library.
- You must log on to the laptop while on campus and connected to the Wi-Fi network, Eduroam. To do this, we strongly recommend that you book a study space.
- If you are unable to find a suitable appointment time please contact the Library
- We will ask you to sign a Laptop agreement form, agreeing to the conditions of the loan.
