Teaching Resource Collection (TRC)
The TRC is a collection of educational material that is especially useful for lesson planning and for use in the classroom during field experience periods in schools. This collection contains resources in range of formats, e.g. books, DVDs, CDs, games and toys, and includes:
- examples of syllabi and curriculum guides;
- non-fiction resources in which the intellectual content is aimed at juveniles;
- lesson plans and classroom activities;
- Victorian Certificate of Education study guides.
The collection is generally used for practical teaching and presentation purposes. Works on the theory of teaching or learning are held in the main collections, not the Teaching Resource Collection.
Large books and reading kits are located in the Teacher Resource Collection (Big).
