At FedUni, we provide a full orientation program for our international students and pride ourselves on the personal support that we offer.


During orientation you will meet our team, the student committee and your fellow new students. You will also learn everything you need to know about studying at FedUni, your rights and responsibilities and the wide range of services and facilities available to you during your time with us. This includes:

  • Support services
  • Social and sporting activities
  • Academic resources
  • Campus and community tours
  • Fire, personal and water safety
  • Health and personal relationships
  • Accommodation options
  • Bank accounts and financial understanding
  • Faculty information
  • Enrolment/timetables

As mentioned in your welcome letter, the orientation and enrolment days for semester 2 2018 are on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 July. Master of Social Work Students additionally have a course orientation on Friday 20 July, and Bachelor of Nursing students have an additional course orientation day on Wednesday 25 July. It is compulsory that new students attend each of these days.

The entire week 23 - 29 July is Orientation week, and a range of programs and social events are planned. Please see the O-Week webpage for more details.
