My academic support
Studying at university isn't easy...
But we try to make it as easy as possible. There are a range of free support services available for if you're struggling academically, but you can access them all from the moment you start with us - don't leave it too late.
Student Academic and Study Support (SASS)
These guys offer a bunch of student-run services such as: the Mentor Program, which connects you with an experienced student from your School in your first semester); PASS, providing group study sessions with students who have done brilliantly in the course before; YourTutor, which gives you free online tutoring and many more. We highly recommend that all new students take advantage of these. SASS also provides free Learning Skills Advisers offering face-to-face support in referencing, study skills, assignment-writing and more.

The Library
More than just a place to get books, the Library is staffed with experts in Academic and study support, research and ICT skills. They also have an online chat service, so you can even get advice whilst studying at home.
English Language Support Program (ELSP)
Available for all first semester courses, and others on request, the ELSP helps you to understand the content and assessments of your course, lecture notes and academic culture in Australia. We advise all new students whose first language is not English to make use of this service. Please contact us to find out when sessions are running in your subject.
