Karishma's experience volunteering in Australia

Karishma - 20 May 2023

Volunteering is a great way to get started in a new country, helping students to practice English and learn about Australian culture. International students, like Karishma, find that volunteering also offers them a chance to build their support network as they meet new friends and professional contacts on campus and across our local communities. There are a lot of volunteer opportunities available at the University, online and in the local community.

Watch this video to hear about Karishma's experience volunteering in Australia. Find out what she got out of volunteering, what opportunities are available at Federation campuses and how volunteering could benefit you.
