Undergraduate scholarships

For students applying to commence in 2022

The School of Engineering, Information Technology and Physical Sciences supports their students with a range of scholarships valued up to $20,000 for students undertaking the following programs. All students who meet eligibility requirements are strongly encouraged to apply. Applications close on February 18, 2022

Internships available

Professional Practice (Prof Prac) Paid Internship

– from a minimum of $42,000 

All students accepted into the Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice) participate in this internship. Students will receive approximately $42,000 as part of the program.

Scholarships available

We respect that many people have been affected by the COVID 19 pandemic and that this might affect academic performance. In recognition of this impact, we invite all interested students, irrespective of ATAR outcome,  to apply for our scholarships.

Women in Information Technology/Women in Engineering Scholarships - $12,000

These scholarships (two available) are awarded to women entering undergraduate information technology or engineering programs with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of $12,000.

Engineering Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student in an Engineering program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000.

Information Technology Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student in an information technology program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000. (excluding honours)

Geoscience Scholarship $12,000

This scholarship is awarded to the top entering undergraduate student into the Geoscience program with the highest ATAR score above 80. The scholarship value is a maximum of 12,000. (excluding honours)

Bachelor of Science (Honours) Scholarships - $3,000 (two available)

These scholarships will be awarded to applicants from the School of Engineering, Information Technology and Physical Sciences entering the Bachelor of Science (Honours) program. Applications will be assessed and awarded to the highest achieving students according to their academic performance within their undergraduate degree.

FedExcellence Scholarship $5,000

This scholarship will be directed to high achieving commencing students with ATAR 85+

FedSuccess Relocation Grant $5,000

Commencing undergraduate and postgraduate students, relocating to a regional campus greater than 90 mins (via public transport) from their home residence.

FedSTEM Women Scholarship $4000

Awarded to women entering undergraduate STEM programs with the highest ATAR score above 80

FedIgnite Scholarship – Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) $4000

Awarded to commencing students in the following courses, full details on our website:
