Implementation

Through research, teaching and learning we engage. To facilitate implementation of the strategic priorities in the Strategic Plan, we have identified eight areas of focus to achieve our Engagement 2020 commitments.

Student engagement

Students are our core focus and essential partners in the University’s goal of being recognised as a national leader in engagement by 2020.

Staff engagement

Our academic and professional staff are the face of the University and provide the greatest influence on students during their study.

Schools engagement

We must engage with schools in a way that adds value and mutual benefit to students, schools, and the University.

Community engagement

Community immersion is a defining quality of FedUni. It is essential we share the benefits of community engagement across the University and our communities.

Industry engagement

Local industries and businesses, and our wider partnership activities are an essential part of our engagement, and a driver in achieving our goal of being a national leader in engagement by 2020.

Government engagement

We will build on our government engagement experience to target policy, strategic and developmental opportunities that best serve the University and the wider public.

Alumni engagement

Alumni embody the importance of regional and international education delivery and are direct contributors to our social and economic capacity building.

Donor engagement

Through stronger engagement with our individual donors, alumni, staff, Trusts and Foundations we aim to increase the contribution that philanthropy makes to the University.
