Federation University Australia has confirmed its support for Brisbane’s multicultural community by offering a scholarship opportunity through the 2021 Lord Mayor’s Multicultural Business Scholarship Program and Mentoring Scheme.

The scholarship is for a Master of Business Administration (International Business) and will provide the recipient with one year’s full tuition. The opportunity is open to any person of multicultural background who holds permanent residency status.

This is the third year the University has participated in the program, commencing when the Brisbane campus opened in 2018. The first recipient, Sandra Villamil Ordonez, has just completed her first year of a Master of Business Administration (Health Services Management).

Ms Ordonez is a physiotherapist who moved to Australia from Colombia in 2010. Ms Ordonez always planned to advance her career and the scholarship program presented the perfect opportunity.
